The Islamic School Board Ottawa (ISBO) is dedicated to supporting Islamic schools in Ottawa by providing them with academic and financial assistance. Our mission is to ensure that every Muslim child has access to affordable, high-quality education, thereby reducing the financial burden on parents and addressing the increasing demand for Islamic education.

About ISBO

Islamic School Board Ottawa (ISBO) is Federally Registered as an Incorporation pursuant to the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations (NFP Act) with Corporation Number 1538214-9. ISBO is an active Registered Charity with the CRA  # 72572 7218 RR0001. 

  • ISBO aims to collaborate with existing Islamic schools to enhance their academic standards.
  • ISBO is committed to alleviating financial constraints faced by Islamic schools. We work to secure funding and resources to help schools reduce operational costs, ultimately lowering tuition fees for parents.
  • ISBO recognizes the growing demand for Islamic education in Ottawa. By supporting the expansion of existing schools and helping them increase their capacity, we aim to reduce the waiting lists, ensuring that more children can access quality Islamic education.
  • ISBO serves as an umbrella institution for Islamic schools in Ottawa. By fostering collaboration and sharing best practices, ISBO helps schools address common challenges, improve operational efficiency, and provide a unified voice on matters of Islamic education in the community.
