Albab Online

The Need for Another Online Islamic School

According to StatsCan (Nov 22, 2022), Canada’s Muslim community has seen remarkable growth, increasing from 1% to 5% over the past two decades and continuing to expand. However, despite this growth, the public education system fails to meet the specific needs of Muslim families. Existing Islamic schools are already at full capacity with lengthy waiting lists. Distance and financial constraints often hinder access to Islamic schools’ available spaces for many parents. This underscores the urgency for a new, accessible educational solution.

Albab Online Elementary School's key features

Albab School offers a unique blend of in-person and online learning, at affordable cost. Students attend daily live classes from 9 am to 3:30 pm, similar to traditional schools, while also engaging in supervised independent study. What sets Albab School apart is its integration of Islamic teachings and values into the academic curriculum, creating an environment for spiritual and moral growth. The school is dedicated to preparing students for the future by providing a rigorous academic program that meets provincial standards and fosters well-rounded education.
